OpenCart account is free for register, you can get your account to purchase the extensions in OpenCart Marketplace. And you can leave the comment for the extension and blog section. About the Privacy Policy, you can read more details in next section.

Purchasing in OpenCart marketplace

By purchasing extensions / templates OpenCart users must agree to:

  1. Use it for one website ONLY (sub-domains act as separate website), unless stated by the original developer. Written approval (or attached terms of use) must be obtained from the original owner of the work prior to the re-using.
  2. Reselling the downloaded work is NOT ALLOWED, unless stated by the original developer. Written approval (or attached terms of use) must be obtained from the original owner of the work prior the reselling.
  3. Copyrights removal is NOT ALLOWED, unless stated by the original developer. Written approval (or attached terms of use must) must be obtained from the original owner of the work prior to the removal.
  4. Can't claim the downloaded work as your own, please respect the effort and time spent to accomplish this work.
  5. In case of a defaulted downloaded work, you have the right to claim a full refund. Opencart team's verification must be in place prior to any refund action.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law in each applicable jurisdiction, Opencart, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates and/or agents shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages whatsoever, including any damages resulting from

  1. Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of or in any content;
  2. Any personal injury or property damage related to your use of the Opencart Services;
  3. Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information and/or other information stored therein;
  4. Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Opencart Services;
  5. the use or display of any Content or User Content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Opencart Services;
  6. Events beyond the reasonable control of Opencart, including any internet failures, equipment failures, electrical power failures, strikes, labor disputes, riots, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labor or materials, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, explosions, acts of God, war, terrorism, intergalactic struggles, governmental actions, orders of courts, agencies or tribunals or non-performance of third parties; and/or
  7. Loss of use, data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or the inability to use any or all of Opencart Services.

Seller

By uploading extensions / templates the seller must agree to:

  1. The work submitted must be your own. Incase its not, then you must provide an approved document from the original coder/designer stating your distributing rights.
  2. The work submitted has been tested for violability and functionality.
  3. Sellers must provide support as long as their work is on the opencart.com server.
  4. Sellers should include their own terms & conditions as a secondary term of use.
  5. Incase sellers work wasn't functional for any reason or was violating our terms & conditions, then the work mentioned will be pulled out from the server and seller must refund 100% (covering opencart 20%) to clients who bought their work.
  6. Sellers has the right to authorize anyone else incase they can't provide support to their work, or work will be pulled out from server.

Commission and Transaction

OpenCart will charge the commission for each transaction, and the commission rate will decrease depends on the last 6 months of the monthly sales, the transaction after subtract the commission. For details, you can read in Extension Developer.

OpenCart offers three payment gateway options to payout sellers, PayPal, Payoneer and AdvCash (for Russian users only). Paypal paid out within 7days of every following month. Payoneer paid out within 10days of every following month.

Privacy Policy


It is necessary for you to supply OpenCart with personal data in connection with the application for and provision of insurance products and services as well as the carrying out by the Company of other services relating to the services.

Collection

During your use of the Services or third-party vendors contracted by us will collect, use, disclose, store, process, data that identifies you or may make you identifiable (collectively your "Personal Information").

From time to time OpenCart may request your permission to allow us to share your Personal Information with third parties. You can choose not to share your information with third parties.

  4. To engage in marketing activities
  5. To enhance your experience on the Services

Refund Policy


How many days you have to refund the extension

After purchased the extension / theme in OpenCart marketplace. You can apply for the refund within 60 days of your purchase with order ID.

The reason which accept the refund:

  1. The product is not compatible with your OpenCart version;
  2. The product is not working, damage, and does not work as described;
  3. No support from developer or developer not able to fix the issue within the license period.

How will you receive the refund

OpenCart will depend on how buyer made the original payment. For example:

  1. If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your card. If the card you paid with is closed or invalid, the money will still be refunded to your credit card account.
  2. If you paid with your bank or PayPal account balance, the money is refunded to your PayPal account.
  3. If you paid using a credit card and your PayPal account balance, the amount paid by credit card is refunded to your card. The remaining amount is refunded to your PayPal account.
